My boyfriend and I have done a lot of research and are looking for a reputable breeder to get our frenchie from. I have been in contact with a few, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? We are willing to travel, but the closer to Vancouver the better I suppose. Please send me a private message or an e-mail if there are any suggestions out there :)
Thank you! l.krentz@hotmail.com |

I am also looking for the same. I do not want to rush into getting a French Bulldog from just anyone off the internet that is advertising Frenchies for sale.
It would be nice to meet a local breeder and wait for the perfect puppy. If you have any contacts please let me know. Thank you M Prsa |

There are several things that I recommend.
1) Educate yourself-on the breed as well as how to distinguish a reputable breeder from a back yard breeder. Do some searches and you will find some helpful info. One thing that almost all groups and animal welfare agencies agree on is that reputable breeders show their dogs and health test. 2) Find the local breed club for the breed you are looking for. ie. In Canada your local French Bulldog club is http://www.frenchbull... 3) Attend a dog show and actually meet the breeders. In October you have the Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers of B.C. show which is the largest dog show in Canada. Dates are Oct. 29-Nov. 1 in Abbotsford. http://lmdf.ca/fall/i... If anyone is EVER interested in attending a show and is not sure where/how to find the information, please feel free to send me a message and I would be more than happy to help you navigate through the schedules. |
