I was really looking forward to making the meetup this month. I have just had a new baby so haven't been able to make it the last few. I don't know if anyone has stepped up as organizer but it would be a shame to not have the meetups anymore. Maybe we could try a different location??

I don't want this Meetup to go away. I'd be willing to pay the yearly renewal fee if that's all we need to do to prevent this from ending.

Doesn't seem like it really requires much.... maybe updating the pictures?? What else is involved?

Its basically just about paying the yearly/monthly fee and setting up the events. Not much work goes into being organizer unless you want to try and get everyone more involved..

Byron - very generous of you to offer. I am willing to chip in. I paid for my other meetup solo for 3 years so I am sensivite to one person having to foot the entire thing.

If nobody else wants it, I will step up if I can share the financial burden with a few people. I can send the notifications and schedule the meetups.

I also think alternating locations is a fun idea. There are two dog parks in Dublin and I am sure other venues. Private residences are an option also if someone is willing and has a yard.

We have 15 days to decide before the group dissolves.

Thanks for the feedback,

Diane

Hey everyone, I was really looking forward to this month's meet-up too! It's the howl-o-ween costume time of the year (who would want to miss out on frenchies in costumes??). How much is a monthly fee? I'd be willing to chip in for that too.

Diane - I like the idea of switching up the dog parks every once in awhile. As you and I know, both dog parks in Dublin are great. Or maybe even in a different city? I know a lot of members don't even live in this city/area, it would be nice for them if we could travel a little for them too.

Great ideas for sure! As a member since late 2007, I can tell you that many members just show up at the end of the month without interacting with meet up boards or notices. I will definitely keep some of them posted on whichever direction this goes. Julie and Carmella will be missed!

Can we get a confirmation on this? I'd be willing to chip in for the fee.

Can we have our 25th meetup then? Any reason to miss a month of French Madness??
