We had great feedback on Wallace Park. The area was much bigger and fenced in with a picnic table and great big trees for shade. There is a nice area to play catch also, along with a basketball court and play area for children. Let's try this park again!

Wallace Park is a large shared park in NW Portland, at 25th and Pettygrove. The off-leash area is at the northeast corner of the park. The area is large enough for long game of fetch. There is a water fountain nearby, as well as garbage cans, but no poop bags are provided so come prepared. The area borders 25th and Raleigh, so keep an close eye on your dog.

p.s. October is right around the corner so start thinking about your costumes and let me know if you are interested in going to the Pumpkin Patch again this year. Also, what do you think about shooting our holiday photos (benefits for the no-kill shelter) this year in October at the Pumpkin Patch?? Let me know if you would rather do this in November or early December. Thanks!

    • “ It was great to meet some Frenchies.. I have been taking "Cocette" (my 20 month old French -maybe mixed w/Boston?bulldog-from rescue) to Gabriel park.. I was great fun to see all the Frenchies!!! I did not know Frenchies could purr like Kitties!!!! Also appreciate the helpful info (from the more experienced owners) about Food allergies some Frenchie may have .. I look forward to more good times.. ??? PS Because my little girl was a rescue...
